1. Material and method
1.1 Date and place
This test is done in one pig farm in Jiangsu Taizhou from 23rd August to 12th Sep, 2011
1.2 Material
Antibacterial Peptide provided by Shanghai Bangcheng, it is of light yellow powder with fermentation odor
1.3 Test Design
Select 180 weaned piglets with similar weight and variety, almost same sex ratio and divide them into control group and experimental group, every group has five repetitions, one repetition 18 pigs. Feeding control group with basic ration and add 300ppm Antibacterial peptide into experimental group’s basic ration to substitute part of antibiotics. The daily management of these 180 pigs keeps the same.

Note: Drugs used in control group is Polymyxin E sulfate 1000ppm + Kitasamycin 40ppm, and in experimental group Antibacterial Peptide 300ppm + Polymyxin E sulfate 200ppm + Kitasamycin 40ppm were used.
